as the soil of our Californian vineyards, dating back over a century.
Since our first case was shipped in 1889, Korbel Classic Brandy
has become synonymous with age old tradition, quality, and the unassailable
spirit as embodied by the Korbel brothers themselves. World travelers,
adventurers, and entrepreneurs – Francis Korbel and his brothers
created an amazing legacy within the annals of Californian brandy
mastery. And, to this day, Korbel Classic Brandy remains one of
the jewels in the crown of their vision.
In 1954 when the Heck family purchased the Korbel winery, Adolf
Heck re-imagined Korbel Brandy, breathing new life into the ‘Classic’
label. But it was Gary Heck who brought all production into Heck
Cellars, a totally independent facility dedicated to the production
and aging of Korbel Brandy itself. From grape selection to bottling
of the final finished blend, Korbel Classic Brandy remains true
to its original incarnation - genuine Californian brandy at its
finest.
