Brandy Glazed Salmon

Brandy glazed salmon
3 tbs. brown sugar
3 tbs. Korbel California Brandy
2 tbs. soy sauce
1-1/2 tbs. fresh ginger, grated
1 tbs. fresh lime juice
1- 1/2 tbs. fresh garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. black pepper
5.5 oz. salmon filets
2 tbs. grape seed oil
salt and pepper
2 tbs. chopped chives
1 tbs. toasted sesame seeds

Combine the first 7 ingredients in a small bowl, set aside. Season salmon with salt and pepper.

Heat a large sauté pan with grape seed oil over medium-high heat. Add salmon and sauté until nicely brown, about 3-4 minutes. Turn the salmon over, pour the glaze over the salmon and reduce the heat. Cover and cook until done.

To serve, place the salmon onto a platter and pour any remaining glaze over the salmon. Sprinkle with chopped chives and sesame seeds.
